Marine Industrial Electro Solutions (MIES) was founded by Chris Bosch in 2003 and with twenty five years of experience in marine and industrial electrical and electronics, MIES is able to supply the best solution to your requirements without compromising good service, reliability and backup.

MIES supplies turn-key automation solutions to all your automation requirements. Our main focus is in the marine, oil, gas and offshore industries. With our wide range of partners MIES can offer a wide range of solutions to these industries.

Being the only accredited sales and service outlet for Scantrol Winch Controls, Megacon Instruments, PRAXIS Vessel Automation systems in Africa we are placed a step ahead of our competitors. No project is too small or too big for us. Our services and products are also available to the offshore oil and gas industry. It is also important to note that all our equipment is classed approved by all major class societies like ABS, DNV, Lloyds etc.

MIES also supplies teams of qualified Compex certified technicians to the offshore oil and gas sector to do hazardous area equipment inspections, repairs and compilation of hazardous area equipment registers (HAER). MIES also do annual surveys and inspections of existing hazardous area equipment registers (HAER) and maintenance thereof.

Based in Maitland, Cape Town we are situated close to Cape Town Harbour and most electrical suppliers for easy convenience and hassle free service.
